Tata Safari opens booking for new Safari with ADAS features
Tata Motors had started booking the updated avatar of its Harrier SUV a day earlier. Now the company has opened booking for the ADAS version of its 7 seater SUV Tata Safari. The company has updated Safari with more features. The biggest feature that has been added to it is the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistant System) feature. Tata Safari is doing well in the market. Tata Motors has started taking bookings for the updated Safari SUV.
What’s New in the Safari 2023?
Tata Safari will now come with ADAS system. That is, features like Forward Collision Warning, Auto Emergency Braking, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Alert, High Beam Assist, Blind Spot Detection will be given in it. Apart from this, you will also get the facility of traffic alert, rear collision warning, door open alert and electronic stability program.
Safari now also gets a new touchscreen infotainment system. Its size is 10 inches. It supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and is connected to a 9 JBL speaker system. The 360 degree parking camera given in it will help in parking the SUV in tight parking. Tata Motors has also updated the instrument cluster.
Engine & Power
The engine has also been modified and tuned to meet the new emission norms. It is a 2.0-litre diesel engine, which generates 168 Bhp and 350 Nm. It will get 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. On the exterior, the Safari will get a new Red Dark Edition that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. Prices are expected to increase by around ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh depending on the variant. Currently, the price of Safari ranges from ₹ 15.65 lakh to ₹ 24.01 lakh.
