UFO violating Canadian airspace shot down on PM Trudeau’s orders

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau revealed on Saturday (local time) that an ‘unidentified flying object’ that entered Canadian airspace was shot down on his orders. Trudeau tweeted, ‘I ordered the take down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace. @NORADCommand shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully fired at the object.’

Second such incident in two days

The strike comes a day after the US military shot down a ‘high altitude object’ over Alaska and exactly a week after the military shot down a Chinese spy balloon off the South Carolina coast.

It is not yet clear whether this ‘unidentified flying object’ is related to the suspected Chinese spy balloon shot down last week or another object that was shot down over Alaska on Friday.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) had earlier said it was monitoring ‘a high altitude aerial object’ over northern Canada. According to the agency, military aircraft from Alaska and Canada were engaged in this work.

Trudeau spoke to US President Biden

Trudeau tweeted, ‘I spoke with President Biden this afternoon. The Canadian military will collect and analyze the debris of the object. Thank you NORAD for keeping an eye on North America.’
