Chardham Yatra 2023: Portals of Kedarnath opened for devotees
The doors of Kedarnath Dham were opened for the devotees on Tuesday morning at 6:20 am today. The Kedarnath temple has been decorated with 35 quintals of flowers on the auspicious occasion of opening of the doors ahead of the summer season. More than 10,000 devotees were part of the auspicious occassion. During this, flowers were showered on the devotees by helicopter. The first worship in the Dham was done in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The process of opening the doors had started from 5 in the morning itself. Tthe portals of the temple were opened by the administration in the presence of Rawal and Shri Badrinath Kedarnath temple committee officials. As soon as the doors opened, the Dham echoed with the cheers of Mahadev.
After this, the chief priest performed special worship of Lord Kedarnath in the sanctum sanctorum. After this the darshan of Kedarnath started for Chardham Yatra 2023.
