Woman’s body found hanging from banquet hall wall, police suspect murder

The dead body of a woman was found hanging from the wall of a banquet hall located in Mukhani police station area of Haldwani. The police have started investigating the death by suspecting it to be a murder. On Sunday, on the information of Banquet Hall owner, SO Mukhani Ramesh Bohra reached the spot with the team.

The woman’s body was hanging from the noose of a dupatta with the help of an iron pipe and blood was oozing from the nose. No clue could be found even in the CCTV cameras installed at the spot. The police have sent the dead body of the woman to the mortuary and cases of missing women are being investigated from all the police stations to identify her.
