Adi Kailash Yatra 2023: First batch of devotees leave from Kathgodam

The first group of yatris has left for Adi Kailash Yatra 2023 on Thursday morning. The corporation’s Managing Director Vineet Tomar and General Manager AP Vajpayee flagged off the passengers from the tourist accommodation of Kumaon Mandal Development Corporation located in Kathgodam. The first batch consists of 19 people. In which 10 are men and 9 are women. GM Vajpayee told that 16 passengers are from Gujarat, two from Kerala and one each from UP and Delhi.

The devotees were welcomed by the MD and GM of the corporation before their departure from the Kathgodam tourist accommodation. The things related to the journey together were told to them. The group of pilgrims who left from Kathgodam at around 9:30 am on Thursday morning will first visit Baba Neem Karauli. Next, after visiting the Golu Devta temple at Chitai in Almora, they will leave for Jageshwar. After visiting Jageshwar Dham they will have lunch at the tourist accommodation.

Then the devotees will leave for Pithoragarh. Here, there was great enthusiasm among the travelers after the commencement of the journey after the Corona period. Along with this, the officers and employees of Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam looked enthusiastic to welcome the devotees.
