Heavy rains lash New York; Governor appeals to citizens to exercise caution

There was a storm with heavy rain in New York, America on Friday. Due to this, roads, highways were submerged underwater. Due to this, people got trapped in cars and houses. Fire brigade teams carried out rescue missions to help the people.

Flights had to be delayed at LaGuardia Airport. At the same time, metro service was stopped in some parts. Seeing the situation, New York Governor Kathy Hochul appealed to the people to exercise caution. She said in an interview that up to 5 inches of rain fell in some areas overnight. At the same time, 7 inches more rain is expected throughout the day.
