Uttarakhand’s Chirag Sen wins National Badminton Championships 2023

Shuttler Chirag Sen from Almora district has brought glory to the district by winning the 85th Senior National Badminton Championship held in Guwahati, Assam. Chirag performed brilliantly and won the title of men’s singles category. In the final match he defeated Tharun M of Telangana. For the first time, Uttarakhand has won gold medals in the Senior National Badminton Championship. There is a wave of happiness in his home region on his achievement.

Uttarakhand Badminton Association Secretary BS Mankoti said that in the final match of the championship, Chirag Sen of Almora won the championship by defeating Tharun M of Telangana by a margin of 21-14, 13-21, 21-9.
