Bus service started from Haldwani to Ayodhya; know fare, timings
Preparations are in full swing for Ram temple inauguration in Ayodhya on 22 January. Thousands of people of Kumaon including Haldwani are preparing to witness this moment. Now Uttarakhand Transport Corporation has also started preparations for this. Kathgodam depot has started direct bus service from Haldwani to Ayodhya.
Till now bus service was operating from Haldwani to Lucknow. But with the consecration of Lord Ram in the new temple on January 22, the importance of Ayodhya has increased manifold. Everyone is preparing to go to Ayodhya. In such a situation, now roadways have also taken steps. Kathgodam depot has given green signal to Haldwani-Ayodhya bus service.
This service has started from Thursday night. ARM Alok Banwal of Kathgodam depot told that earlier this bus used to run till Lucknow. But there was a demand from the passengers to start a new bus service till Ayodhya. In view of this, it was decided to take a direct bus to Ayodhya. The bus will leave from Haldwani at 8.30 pm and will reach Ayodhya via Bareilly, Lucknow, Faizabad. It will leave for Haldwani from Ayodhya at 3:30 pm. The fare has been fixed at Rs 745 for a distance of 532 kilometers.
