School Holiday declared on January 19 in the plains of Nainital district

In Uttarakhand, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding cold. Fog is being seen continuously in the plains, due to which people are facing a lot of trouble. In view of this, Nainital district administration has declared holiday on January 19 in the schools of plain areas Haldwani, Lalkuan, Kaladhugi and Ramnagar.

Additional District Magistrate P.R Chauhan has given information in this regard that according to the weather forecast by the India Meteorological Department, Dehradun, there is a possibility of cold wave and dense fog in the plains of the state on January 19 (Friday), and at present there is a possibility of cold wave and dense fog in the plains of the district ( Cold day and fog conditions are prevailing in Haldwani, Lalkua, Kaladhungi and Ramnagar), as a result of which there is a possibility of danger for the students studying in the field of the district due to reduced visibility due to extreme cold, cold wave and dense fog.

In the administrative order it was said that, in view of the safety of the students, One day holiday is declared on January 19 (Friday), all the government, semi-government and private schools (all educational institutions running from class 1 to 12)  in the plain areas of the district, Haldwani, Lalkua, Kaladhungi and Ramnagar.
