Uttarakhand Budget 2024: Government presents budget of Rs 89 thousand crores

The budget of the CM Dhami led state government of Uttarakhand was presented on Tuesday, the second day of the assembly session. Many gifts were given to the people in the budget of Dhami government. There has been an increase in the budget for everything from medicine, education, health, drinking water, tourism to solar energy.

Provisions in Uttarakhand Budget 2024

-About Rs 31 crore in the financial year 2024-25 under the e-Vidhan Sabha Application Program.

-Rs 850.00 crore in the financial year 2024-25 under the Mega Project Scheme.

-About Rs 710.00 crore in the financial year 2024-25 for Jamrani Dam Project.

-Rs 300.00 crore in the financial year 2024-25 for Song project.

-Rs 250.00 crore in the financial year 2024-25 for Lakhwad project.

-Rs 250.00 crore for organizing the 38th National Games to be held in the state.

-Rs 157.00 crore for construction of Unity Mall/Plaza.

-Rs 100.00 crore for roof top solar scheme for administrative and non-residential buildings.

-Revenue records will be completely digitized, for which Rs 50 crore will be raised from the new demand.

-Rs 50 crore for vehicle purchase under scrap policy

-Rs 40.00 crore for upgradation of ITI as per Tata Technology Model.

Under the Food Security Scheme, approximately Rs 34.00 crore will be spent in 2024-25 to provide salt at affordable rates to primary and Antyodaya ration card holders.

-25 crores for mining survey

-Rs 10.00 crore in new demand for construction of Children Traffic Park in each district.

-Collective farming in barren land Rs 7 crore

-Rs. 10 crore for theme based science and innovation centers in each district.

-Rs 10 crore through new demand for Urban Mobility Program with the aim of strengthening urban transport in the state.

-Rs 5 crore for THDC and UJVN joint venture for thermal project.

-Rs 10.00 crore for construction of EV charging infrastructure project under Transport Department.
