Cloudburst reported in Chamoli’s Tharali region
Cloudburst has caused devastation in Tharali region of Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district. There is news of cloudburst in Tunri Gadera of Tharali tehsil. Due to cloudburst late night, a lot of debris has come in Tharali market, Kotdeep, Tehsil Tharali premises. Apart from this, heavy damage has been caused in many areas including Chepdon and Sagwara.
Due to cloudburst, debris has come in houses, shops have also been damaged. Some vehicles are also buried under the debris in the tehsil premises. Roads have been damaged. Two people were reported missing. The NDRF team has left for the spot. Local administration and disaster management teams are engaged in rescue work.

A rainy rivulet suddenly overflowed in Radibagad, tehsil premises of Tharali. SDM residence was damaged from the debris. Others including SDM left the residence at night and went to a safe place. There is news of vehicles being buried under debris in Radibagad.
