There is a possibility of light rain in the hilly areas of the state today (Wednesday). While a yellow alert has been issued for gusty winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in Pauri and Nainital districts including Dehradun.
According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of light rain in some areas of Uttarakashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts.
Meteorologists say that gusty winds and light rain will provide relief from the heat. Talking about the coming days, the weather is expected to remain changed across the state till April 12.
