Uttarakhand Corona News 24 September: 684 cases detected today

The cases of corona infection are increasing in Uttarakhand. On Thursday, 684 Corona positive patients were reported in the state within 24 hours. At the same time, the number of infected patients in Uttarakhand, has now crossed 44 thousand.

According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, today the maximum number of 161 patients have come from Dehradun. At the same time, 114 infected patients have been found in Almora, 131 in Udham Singh Nagar, 3 in Bageshwar, 17 in Chamoli, 5 in Champawat, 80 in Haridwar, 58 in Nainital, 32 in Pauri, 27 in Pithoragarh, 14 in Rudraprayag and 42 in Uttarkashi.

So far, 32154 patients have recovered and returned home. While there are 11507 active cases. At the same time, the number of deceased patients has also reached 542.

77 percent infected cases, 55 percent sample testing in plain districts

Corona-infected cases are 77 percent in the four plains districts of the state, but sample investigation is being done 55 percent. At present, 5339 people are being tested against a population of one lakh in the state. So far, more than 6.15 lakh people have been screened. In Uttarkashi district, more than 12 thousand people have been screened per lakh population. Whereas 4342 sample tests have been done at the lowest per lakh in Nainital.

The first case of corona infection was found in the state on 15 March. Since then, Covid tests of 6.15 lakh people have been conducted in the state so far. 3.41 lakh investigations were conducted in Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar and Nainital districts. Results of 11421 are awaited.
