Uttarakhand weather update: Rain forecast in these districts on April 20

Due to rain and hailstorm in Uttarakhand these days, a drop in temperature is being seen from the mountains to the plains. Although there is relief from the heat due to rain in the mountainous regions, but people are suffering due to the intense heat in the plains. On April 19, due to rain and thunderstorms across the state, the maximum temperature dropped by one to two degrees Celsius. On Sunday, i.e. April 20, there is a possibility of rain, hailstorm, lightning and thunderstorms in most places of the state. For this, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and hailstorm in all the districts of the state today. Today, there is also a possibility of lightning with thunder and thunderstorms at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour in Dehradun, Tehri Garhwal, Pauri Garhwal, Champawat and Nainital districts. There is a possibility of storm with a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Almora, Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar and Bageshwar districts. Due to which the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in these districts of the state today. Dehradun is expected to remain partly cloudy today and light to moderate rain is expected. Today’s maximum temperature in Doon is expected to be 34 degrees and minimum temperature 22 degrees Celsius. Experts of the Meteorological Department have appealed to all the people of the state to remain alert due to strong storm.
According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, on Saturday the maximum temperature of Dehradun was recorded at 34 degrees and the minimum temperature was 22.1 Celsius. The maximum temperature of New Tehri was recorded at 23.8 degrees and the minimum temperature was 14.8 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Pantnagar was 32.5 degrees and the minimum temperature was 20.2 degrees Celsius. Mukteshwar recorded a maximum temperature of 25.5 degrees and a minimum temperature of 11.4 degrees Celsius.
