RT-PCR testing lab to be developed in Pithoragarh

The people of the remote and border villages of Pithoragarh villages will no longer have to wait long for a corona test. Lab construction has been approved for RT-PCR test in the district from the Central Government. The land has been selected for lab construction in the base hospital. The necessary materials for lab construction have reached. People of Champawat will also get benefit by having lab in district. On Wednesday, CMO Dr. HC Pant held a press conference.

During this, he has asked people to be vigilant amid increasing cases of corona. CMO said that approval has been received from the central government for the RT-PCR investigation. It was informed that in the past the lab was to be set up in the district hospital, but due to not enough space, it has been decided to construct the lab at the base hospital. Preparations are being made for lab construction.
