Corona curfew extended till 25 May in Uttarakhand

Corona curfew in Uttarakhand has been extended till 25 May. The decision was taken after considering the situation of corona virus infection in a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister. According to government spokesperson Subodh Uniyal, the curfew has been extended with some new restrictions. The groceries shops will now open on May 21 from 7 am to 10 am during the curfew.

The RTPCR negative report has been made mandatory for participation in the marriage ceremony. At the same time, banks will now open from 10 am to 2 am. Apart from this, e-pass has been made mandatory to attend the funeral. In Uttarakhand, the second phase of Covid curfew will be implemented from May 18 at 6 am to May 25 at 6 am.

  • A maximum of 20 people will be allowed in the wedding ceremony and RTPCR test will be mandatory before 72 hours.
  • A doctor’s slip would be valid for relatives of corona patients.
  • Curfew passes will be given only upto 20 people allowed at the funeral. In case of health emergency and family death, e pass will be given on application.
  • Banking procedure was carried out at Bank’s request from 10 am to 2 pm. The same system will also apply to the State Employees Finance Institute.
  • 50% capacity of the vehicle will be permissible for vehicles going to Haridwar for immersion of ashes.
  • Along with the government ration shop, the bakery will also be allowed to open from 7 am to 10 am.
  • The groceries, ration shops will open on May 21 at 7 to 10 in the day.
  • There will be no compulsory pass for coming to Uttarakhand from the UP border areas, but travelers will have to apply on the portal.
