18 to 44 age group to be vaccinated free of cost says Uttarakhand government
Several important decisions including the prevention of corona infection were taken at the Uttarakhand cabinet meeting. During this period, it was decided that all people in the age group of 18 to 44 years will be vaccinated for free in the state. It will cost about 450 crores, which will be borne by the government.

Other important decisions of the cabinet
– In vaccines in the age group of 18 to 45 years, 90 percent of the vaccine will be Covishield and 10 percent of the vaccine will be Covaxin.
Director-General Medical and Medical Education has been authorized for quick advance payment for the supply of vaccine in the state at the earliest. Secretary Industries Sachin Kurve has been entrusted with the responsibility of providing the vaccine.
– To ensure adequate supply of Remedisvir injection, 100% advance payment has been made for speedy supply. Also, the supply has been kept free from the formalities of bank guarantee and Ernest Money etc.
– The amount of fine imposed on those who do not wear masks in public places and premises has been increased from Rs 500 to Rs 700.
– The doctors and other personnel posted on contract in the health department will be kept as before.
– Where curfew is imposed, it will be strictly followed.
– Id cards of journalists will be considered as curfew pass for media coverage during Covid Curfew.
– Workers will also be allowed to move so that the work is not affected during the Corona curfew.
