CM Dhami inaugurates 138 development schemes worth Rs 533 crore in Tehri district
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of a total of 138 development schemes of the district worth Rs 533 crore at Pratap Inter College Boradi, Tehri on Saturday. In which inauguration of 45 development schemes worth Rs 158 crore and 93 foundation stones of projects worth Rs 375 crore are included. On this occasion, the Chief Minister visited the exhibition put up by various departments on development works. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the state level elite women’s and men’s boxing competition on this occasion.
The Chief Minister announced on the occasion that efforts would be made to upgrade Tehri Hydro Engineering College to the status of IIT. Its proposal will be sent to the Government of India. For New Tehri city, a scheme for pure drinking water will be prepared from REACH. The picnic spot of New Tehri town will be developed as an eco-park and operated for the convenience of tourists. Assembly Constituency – Naikhari College of Devprayag will be made the campus of Sridev Suman University. Approval will be given to establish a college under Bhilangana area of Ghansali assembly constituency. Efforts will be made to open branches of Centralized Bank in Nageshwarsaud in Ghansali assembly constituency.
The Chief Minister said that we are not only taking decisions, but are also implementing them on the ground. For our resolve to build a developed Uttarakhand, we are continuously moving ahead with a vision. Both the government’s policy and intention are clear, that’s why today Uttarakhand is getting more job opportunities than ever before. Continuous efforts are being made to conduct the recruitment examinations in a fair manner in the state, but some people are trying to mislead the innocent youth of the state and make them stand against the government. The state government has tried to secure the future of the youth of the state by implementing a strict anti-copying law. With the implementation of this law, no paper leak in future will be able to dare to think about copying.
The Chief Minister said that the state has made unprecedented development under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Along with infrastructure, environmental protection and modern development, special campaigns are also being run in the state for cultural development. A blueprint of policy plans is being prepared to create new employment opportunities in the state, to prevent migration, to promote tourism in the state and to improve the basic systems of the state. Empowerment of youth, farmers and mother power is at the center of the government’s development plans. He said that until our youth, our women and our farmers do not become self-reliant, the path of developed Uttarakhand will not be sure. In line with the great vision and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is determined to move ahead on the path of progress.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is moving ahead with a resolution without any option for the development of Uttarakhand. When we will be celebrating the silver jubilee year of the state in the year 2025, then we will see the dream of best Uttarakhand coming true.
