Originally a resident of Sanglakoti, Pauri Garhwal, Jaipal Negi, along with his family, currently lived in Burari, Delhi. It is being told that his health was not well for a long time. He had a kidney problem. This morning when his health worsened, his family were taking him to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi but he died on the way around 6 am. Jaipal Negi passing away at such a young age is a big setback for the Uttarakhand film industry.
