Electric charging stations to be seen soon in Doon

If you have an electric vehicle, then this news is of great use to you. Electric vehicles are being promoted in the country to reduce environmental pollution. For this, now there will also be charging points for electric vehicles at petrol pumps. Amidst the increasing demand for electric vehicles in the country, the government is also making a lot of efforts to increase the number of its charging points. And for this, under the pilot project, these charging points will be installed in eight to ten petrol pumps of Dehradun, EV charging facility at petrol pumps will give a tremendous boost to electric vehicles. Right now people shy away from buying electric vehicles due to lack of charging facility. In view of this, Indian Oil Company has planned to install charging points at petrol pumps, soon the work of installing charging points at petrol pumps will start. Along with this, payment will be taken from the drivers according to the commercial rates.

It is worth noting that during the Corona period, the work of many big projects came to a standstill. Now that the effect of the second wave of corona in the state has started decreasing, it is expected that soon the work of big projects will also pick up speed. By the year 2030, the central government is trying to make India a fully electric vehicle country. But despite many efforts in the mountain, e-vehicle’s haven’t been able to get much public affection so far. Lack of charging stations is becoming the main obstacle in the adoption of electric vehicles in the country. Due to the lack of charging infrastructure, people are avoiding buying electric vehicles. If the charge runs out during the journey and there is no charging station nearby, then the driver has to make a lot of effort. The plan to install charging points will be a good initiative. Certainly the number of electric vehicles will increase in the coming time. Under the pilot project, these charging points will be installed in eight to ten petrol pumps of Dehradun. Looking at the results of the pilot project, it will be expanded in the future.
