2 soldiers from Uttarakhand martyred in shelling in J&K
Two soldiers of Pithoragarh district were killed in a shelling by Pakistan in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir while two soldiers have been injured in this attack.
The news of this incident created a furore in the martyrs’ house. The martyrdom of two soldiers has caused a wave of mourning in the entire Pithoragarh.
The family of martyred Gokarn Singh is currently in Bareilly. According to the information received, Nayak Shankar Singh, resident of Nali village of Gangolihat, posted in Kumaon Regiment, and Gokarn Singh, resident of Naapad village in Munsiyari, have laid down their lives protecting the country.
The family of Shaheed Gokarn Singh currently lives in Bareilly. Nayak Pradeep Kumar of Pithoragarh and Narayan Singh of Bageshwar district have been injured in this attack.
All possible help will be provided to the families of the martyrs
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has paid homage to the martyrdom of the soldiers. He said that the State Government will provide all possible help to the families of the martyrs.
