Uttarakhand Corona News 23 September: Daily case count crosses 1000 again

On Wednesday, 1069 new cases have been reported. Dehradun with 318 cases again had the maximum number of cases in the state. Apart from this, 237 Udham Singh Nagar, 127 Haridwar, 119 Nainital, 58 Chamoli, 53 Uttarkashi, 48 Pauri Garhwal, 31 Tehri Garhwal, 22 Rudraprayag, 21 each in Pithoragarh and Bageshwar and 7 cases have come up in Champawat. At the same time, 1016 people have recovered today. The number of infected in the state has now increased to 43720, out of which 31123 have become healthy. At present, 11867 cases are active, while 529 have died. In addition, 201 patients have gone out of the state.

Three corona infected patients died

Three patients died on Wednesday at Dr. Sushila Tiwari Kovid Hospital. Medical Superintendent said that a 72-year-old woman resident of Haldwani Bareilly Road was a patient of pneumonia, diabetes, blood pressure. She was also Covid infected. A 60-year-old resident of Kashipur was suffering from pneumonia, high BP, and corona being infected. He succumbed during treatment. At the same time, 78-year-old Corona positive patient resident of Tanakpur has also died. He was also suffering from diabetes, cardiovascular diseases.

According to the Health Department, 11030 sample test reports were received from government and private labs, out of which 10156 reports were negative. In Dehradun again, the maximum 368 people have been found corona infected. Among them are ministers and MLAs and ordinary citizens. So far, 42651 people have been infected in the state. Although 30107 of these people have been cured. Currently there are 11831 active cases, while 201 patients have gone out of state.
