Petrol Bomb scare at Roorkee theater for screening ‘Padmavat’

Miscreatns Outside the RR Cinema on Haridwar Highway attacked the hall with a petrol bomb. There was no loss due to gasoline bottles. The movie Padmavat was being showed in the hall. The policemen followed the accused, but they escaped. Police is investigating the case.

Padmavat was being screened on Sunday in RR Cinema situated on Haridwar Highway. Police personnel were also deployed outside the theater. At around 10:30 pm, two bike riders threw the bottle filled with petrol at the cinema complex. The bottle however hit a car passing through the highway. The driver stopped the car. The police posted a little distanct to this case reached the spot, but the accused fled by then. Police searched for the miscreants, but no clues were found. SP Country Manikant Mishra told that the police have been deployed on the spot. The matter is under investigation.
