Tharali MLA Magan Lal Shah’s health remains critical; CM Rawat pays visit

Health of Legislator Magan Lal Shah of Tharali seat of Chamoli district remains fragile. He is placed on the ventilator in the ICU. Team of Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant is in touch with Delhi’s specialist doctors on the health of the MLA. According to doctors, MLA Shah suffers from shortness of breath, infection in the lungs and pneumonia.

In the medical bulletin issued by Himalayan Hospital, it was told that on February 19, Tharali MLA Magan Lal Shah was admitted to the hospital. From about a week earlier he was suffering from fever and cough. Even before that he was undergoing treatment in another hospital. There was no improvement in his health even after treatment. On 22 February, suddenly he had been diagnosed with infections and pneumonia in the lungs as he had trouble breathing. Due to this reason the MLA, Magan Lal, was placed in the Ventilator machine at ICU of Himalayan Hospital.

On Friday morning Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Assembly Speaker Premchandra Agarwal, Minister of Higher Education Dhan Singh and Badrinath MLA Mahendra Bhatt came to enquire about the health of the MLA. During this, efforts were made to get an artificial lung machine facility so that the MLA can be referred to Delhi’s high level hospital. Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. YS Bisht said that the condition of the MLA Maganlal Shah is very serious. Hospital teams are also contacting experts in Dehradun and Delhi. During this time Vice Chancellor Dr. Vijay Dasmana is also monitoring with the team of doctors.
