Estonian singer Jana Kask arrested in Chakrata

Police arrested Estonia’s famous young singer Jana Kask in Chakrata, Dehradun District on Monday. The Local Information Department (LIU) has arrested Kask on the charge of entering the restricted area for the entry of foreigners without the permission of the China border and the Home Ministry.
LIU inspector Balwant Singh Rawat said that pop-rock singer Jana Kask (27), a resident of Estonia, was arrested from Chakrata on Monday from Hotel Green View, located at Tuni Road. According to the LIU officers, the region aheadof Kalsi and Tuni comes in sensitive areas due to strategic importance and military camp. In this area, foreigners have to seek permission from the Home Ministry to go abroad. Kask reached the said area with the permission of the Home Ministry for video shoot with her Gurugram friends. She has been arrested for this. SSP Nivedita Kukrati told that after giving information to the Foreign Ministry, the singer has been deported from India and named in the blacklist.

Was on a one-year visa

Jana Kask recently got a one-year tourist visa to travel to India. On October 3, she came to India after getting the visa. On reaching India, she stayed here with her friends in Gurugram. The friends told Kask about the magnificent location of the area to be dazzling for her song shoots. On October 11, she reached Dehradun with friends. One day after staying in Doon, he went to Kalsi.
