PM Modi awarded ‘Seoul Peace Prize Award’

PM Narendra Modi has brought laurels to the nation. After the title of ‘Champions of Earth’, now Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be honored with another honor for his contributions to the global economy. The prestigious Seoul Peace Price 2018 award will be given to PM Modi.

Kwon E-hyock, head of the Seoul Peace Prize Cultural Foundation, has announced this. PM Modi has been selected for this honor for his work in reducing the gap between the rich and the poor in India and the world through Modinomics. The Foundation has also appreciated the steps taken by the Prime Minister to contribute to global peace, human development and strengthening democracy.

The Foundation has decided to honor PM Modi in view of dedication and commitment to take steps to prevent corruption. After the announcement of PM Modi’s name for the prestigious award, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar tweeted. In the tweet, he said that the world too has accepted PM Modi’s economic might.

The prestigious Seoul Peace Prize is being given since 1990. This award has so far been given to persons like former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan, German Chancellor Angela Merkel. A total of 1,300 nominations were received from this world for this award. 100 candidates were separated from the award committee, PM Modi was selected out of these 100 candidates. The committee has called PM Modi “The Perfect Candidate for the 2018 Seoul Peace Prize”.

Earlier, for taking historical steps in the field of environment, the United Nations (UN) awarded Prime Minister Narendra Modi the title of Champions of Earth in September. UN Chief Antonio Guterres honored the Prime Minister in the program held in Delhi. In addition to PM Modi, this award was also given to the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
