Gairsain declared summer capital of Uttararkhand

Finally, on the occasion of completion of three years of the Trivandra Rawat government in Uttarakhand, the people of the state have been given a big gift as an announcement to make Garsain as the summer capital. The BJP had also made this promise to the public, which it has now realized. In the vision letter that the BJP had released ahead of the 2017 assembly elections, it was also assured to consider Grasain to be declared a summer capital with the consent of everyone, equipped with capital level infrastructure facilities. The vision stated that various options for a permanent capital would be considered in the apex elected body and legislative assembly. In the assembly elections, the people of the state gave a bumper 57 seats while trusting the BJP. No political party was able to get so many seats in the state’s history. On 18 March this year of the Trivandra Government is going to complete three years.

CM Trivendra Rawat has announced to make the summer capital in Garsain Sadan, the people of the state have also been treated with colors on the occasion of Holi. Due to the heterogeneous geographical conditions of Uttarakhand, the people had fought a long struggle to demand a separate state. In this movement, 36 agitators were martyred, while a large number of people were also injured. On the strength of the movement for Uttarakhand, a separate state was carved out of UP in November 2000. Although the agitators were demanding that Garasain be made the capital, Dehradun was made a temporary capital due to lack of resources. BJP has fulfilled this promise in a way. The BJP is pleased by this announcement of the Trivandra government. Although there is currently no amount set for the summer capital in the budget of the new fiscal year, the BJP has made its stand completely clear by making Grasain the summer capital. With this, the Congress is seen coming on the backfoot.
