Uttarakhand corona update: Over 150 cases reported in last 24 hours

For the first time after January 1, 2023, the number of infected in a 24 hour period has crossed 150 in Uttarakhand. 154 infected have been found in 24 hours, while one patient has died. Maximum 80 people were found infected in Dehradun district.

According to the report of the Health Department, 1014 samples were tested on Friday. In this, 154 people have been found corona infected. 80 infected have been found in Dehradun district, 21 in Nainital, 17 in Haridwar, 9 in Udham Singh Nagar, 7 each in Pauri and Chamoli, 5 in Bageshwar, 3 each in Almora and Champawat, one each in Pithoragarh and Rudraprayag districts.

At the same time, an infected patient admitted to Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant has died. Meanwhile, 101 infected have also been cured during this period. Presently 388 active patients are undergoing treatment.
