3 Corona positive cases found in Uttarakhand today; total case count 51

Three more cases of corona virus infection have been reported in Uttarakhand on Sunday. Corona infection has been confirmed in nursing officer working in Urology department of AIIMS Rishikesh and obstetric woman admitted in Doon Medical College. The infected woman resident of Azad Colony of Doon has given birth to the child a day earlier.

At the same time, the third infected patient is said to be the husband of the positive woman. With these three infected cases, the total number of corona positive patients has reached 51 in Uttarakhand as on 26 April. Out of this, 28 patients have been cured.

A 28 year old nursing officer working in urology department of AIIMS Rishikesh, has been found infected. On 24 April, the nursing officer had symptoms of cough cold. On April 25, a sample check-up was carried out at AIIMS, which confirmed the infection.

At the same time, 32-year-old woman resident of Azad Colony admitted for delivery in Doon Medical College has also got corona infection. The delivery of the woman was done under adequate safety management as per the guide line of Covid 19. Both mother and child are healthy. Both are placed in isolation. Additional secretary health Yugal Kishore Pant said that the cause of the infection is being ascertained in the nursing officer and the woman and her husband. All the people who came in contact with the three patients will be quarantined after medical examination.

Roll back on timing relaxation in green zone districts

On Sunday, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat reviewed the status of Covid-19 Corona virus infection in the state. The Chief Minister said that lockdown has to be strictly implemented. Action should be taken against those who violate social distancing. Special attention should be paid to patient care. It was decided in the meeting that shops should be allowed to open in urban and rural areas of the state as per the guidelines of the Government of India. The opening hours of shops across the state will remain as before 7 am to 1 pm.
