Idea services go down for about 2 hours in Uttarakhand

Users of Telecom operator Idea in UP(W) Uttarakhand circle were suddenly shocked in the morning. First, the call stopped, then the network signal disappeared altogether from the mobile. This problem is not of any one city alone but it is from Western UP and Uttarakhand. Consumers were worried about it for about two hours, but the company officials avoid the questions of consumers and media.

Idea services were suddenly disrupted around 12 noon on Saturday. There were signals in the mobile, but the consumers were not able to call even on their own network. After this the situation got worsened. Idea’s signals disappeared from mobile. People were unable to make or receive any calls. A crowd of consumers gathered at Idea Care in Dehradun. Everyone had the same problem, network issues. Employees at Idea Care were telling the consumer that this problem would be corrected in a while. Cutting off the OFC has been identified as the cause of this problem. The company officials are trying to fix it.

Center in-charge of Idea Customer Center located at Rajpur Road, Dehradun said that this problem has occurred due to a cut in fiber line. Networks in Dehradun, Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur and other areas were completely blocked for nearly two hours. Getting a call or sending any message was impossible.

Services restored now

Vodafone Idea Ltd said, “Due to unforeseen occurrences, there was a temporary disruption in some parts of Uttarakhand, earlier today. Our prompt response action ensured full restoration of services within a short time. We regret any inconvenience caused to our customers during the restoration period.”
