Plane with 100 people on board crashes in Kazakhstan

A plane carrying 100 people has crashed in Kazakhstan. According to the news agency Reuters, the accident occurred near Almaty Airport. So far 14 people have died in the accident. This accident happened immediately after takeoff. The aircraft crashed into a building and broke into several parts. Relief and rescue operations continue at the scene. Officials said the death toll could increase. The aircraft carried 95 passengers and five crew members. Currently, the cause of the plane crash has not been known.

According to news agency AP, Beck Air Flight 2100 lost contact just minutes after take-off from Almaty Airport at 7.05 am local time. The plane caught fire after the accident and also engulfed the surrounding houses. News agency Reuters has reported that 22 people seriously injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital.

Recently 27 people died in a plane crash in the city of Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The accident occurred in a densely populated area. In October last year, the Boeing 737 Max aircraft of Indonesia Airlines and Ethiopia Airlines in March this year crashed minutes after takeoff. About 350 people died in these accidents. After this, questions were raised about the techniques used in designing 737 MAX aircraft. Later the company had to remove these aircraft from service, causing billions of losses.
