Season’s coldest day in Dehradun

Wednesday will be the coldest night of this season in the capital and surrounding areas. The mercury has reached below five degrees in the night in Doon. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has forecast more cold at night on Thursday.

The city area is experiencing lukewarm sunlight during the day, keeping the maximum temperature above 20 degrees. But at night the temperature is decreasing rapidly and the minimum temperature is reaching five degrees. On Wednesday it reached 4.5 degrees. According to a bulletin issued by the Meteorological Center, the minimum temperature in the capital remained around two degrees below normal.

At the same time, on Thursday, the night temperature can decrease by about half a degree. Weather Center Director Bikram Singh said that the weather will remain clear in all areas. Light fog may also occur in some areas.

Cold Day Condition in Haridwar-Udham Singh Nagar

Cold conditions are expected in Haridwar and Udhamsingh Nagar and other plains of the state. According to a bulletin issued by the Meteorological Center, there is dense fog in the morning in the plains. At the same time, the minimum temperature remains less than 10 degrees.

There was silence on the roads due to the cold. At the same time, only a few passengers were seen at public places, roadways bus stand and railway station. People were seen warming hands in the bonfires. Not only this, the effect of fog and cold wave was seen on the highway. Vehicles were seen moving slowly on the highway.

Fog enveloped the sky since morning and the cold wave continued in the plains. Due to the fog and cold wave, people came out of the house in the morning. People waited for sunshine. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 12.5 degrees.
