Son of corona positive woman also tests positive in Dehradun
Corona has been confirmed in the son of a woman who was also found corona infected. The woman was found infected two days ago during random sampling and testing on the Asharodi barrier in Dehradun, after which her son was quarantined at Seema Dental College in Rishikesh.
The woman, a resident of Adarsh Colony, Dehradun was examined a few days ago on the Asharodi barrier. Her report came Corona positive, after which the woman was admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh. Her 29-year-old son had also returned from Gurugram with the woman. The administration also admitted him to Seema Dental College Quarantine Center in Rishikesh.
Covid-19 Nodal Officer of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh (AIIMS), Dr. Madhur Uniyal said that a sample of the woman’s son was sent for examination on Thursday. His report came positive on Friday morning. This patient has been shifted to isolation ward.
The 52-year-old woman, who is a resident of Adarsh Colony, went to Delhi for treatment and was living with her daughter. She underwent stone surgery at Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital there. Recently, when the movement started, her son went to Delhi to bring back his mother. On 11 May, these people booked a car and reached Dehradun. The woman’s sample was taken at the Asharodi check post. Then on May 13, her report was found positive. On this the son was quarantined in Rishikesh. After this, information regarding the car driver was also sent back to Delhi.
Number of infected reaches 79 in Uttarakhand
Since the arrival of migrants to Uttarakhand, the corona virus graph has been steadily increasing. So far, 79 cases of corona have been reported across the state. However, 51 of them have recovered and returned to their homes. At the same time, in case of migrants, a total of 16 cases have been reported so far.
