24 year old soldier from Uttarakhand martyred in Ladakh border
A 24 year old soldier from Uttarakhand posted on the Ladakh border is reported to have lost his life while protecting the nation in the line of duty. Gloom and despair spread in the house of Kichha resident Jawan Dev Bahadur as soon as the news of his martyrdom was received.
According to the information, during the patrolling on Saturday night, the foot of the young Dev Bahadur tripped on the dynamite lying on the ground. During the blast, he was martyred. The family came to know about the incident late last night.
Shaheed Jawan Dev Bahadur was recruited in the Gorkha Regiment of the Indian Army in 2016. As soon as the news of the soldier’s martyrdom was received, a wave of mourning spread throughout the village.

Kishan Bahadur, the elder brother of the martyred soldier is also in the Indian Army. While bowing to the martyrdom of Dev Bahadur, CM Rawat prayed to God to provide strength to the martyrs’ families. The Chief Minister said that the government is always standing with the family of the martyr.
