Guidelines issued for Unlock 2.0 in Uttarakhand

The Uttarakhand government has given many relaxations to businesses as well as tourists under the unlock 2.0 guidelines. Now restaurants in the state will be able to open till 9 pm and the ban on shopping malls, hotels etc. has also been lifted. Similarly, the guests coming to attend the wedding ceremony etc. will not have to be quarantined.

Guidelines under Unlock-2 were issued by Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar on Thursday. These guidelines include the condition of following other rules including social distance.

The night curfew will be from 9 pm to 7 am, but it will give exemption to those working in night shift as well as people returning from wedding ceremony, train, bus and going home.

After the release of the guideline by the Chief Secretary, orders will be issued by the District Collectors of the districts in this regard, only after that the new system will be implemented in the districts.

What will remain closed in Uttarakhand during unlock 2.0

– Cinema hall, gym, swimming pool, park, theater, bar, auditorium, auditorium etc.
– Schools, colleges, etc. academic institutions will remain closed till 31 July.
– Central and state government training institutes will remain closed till 14 July.
– There will be a complete ban in the Containment Zone and the District Administration will also decide the buffer zone.
– Ban on social, political, sports, religious, cultural etc. activities issued.

Arrangement for those coming from other states

– Registration has to be done on the Smart City web portal http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in. Though no permit etc. will be required, registration will be seen at the border check post.
– All inbound persons not from high load Covid-19 cities will only be home quarantined for 14 days.
– Those coming from high covid load cities (list given below) , irrespective of mode of travel, will have to be home quarantined for seven days and institutional quarantine for seven days. However, such persons will have the option of choosing government institutional quarantine facilities (non payment basis) or a paid quarantine facility (payment to be made by the quarantined individual).
– Those who change flights from Covid high load cities will have to be home quarantined for 14 days.

Rules for foreigners& tourists

– Registration has to be done on the smart city web portal. Seven days institutional and seven days home quarantine is mandatory. If the result of Covid test is not available for seven days, then you will be able to go home from the Institutional Quarantine Center.
– There will be no need to have an institutional quarantine if the Covid-19 test and the results were conducted till 72 hours before are negative.
– They will also have to be registered on the smart city web portal.
– Tourists must book reservations for at least seven days. If the test conducted by Covid testing centers declared by ICMR is negative, then the seven-day rule will not apply.

Relaxations for hotels, restaurants, malls etc.

– Except the Containment Zone, restaurants can be open from 7 am to 9 pm in the entire state.
– Shopping malls will be open till 8 P.M

-Mall management shall make arrangements for opening 50% of the shops on any given day till further notice.

-The restaurant owners shall ensure that a record of all customers, as also waiters serving the tables, is maintained at all times, clearly specifying the date and time.

Religious places will open till eight o’clock at night

Religious places will be open from 7 am to 8 pm except for the Containment Zone. However, no gathering or ceremony will be allowed here.
In the context of Char Dham Yatra, the Devasthanam Board will make arrangements with the district administration taking feedback.

Relaxation for wedding guests

– Permission to use wedding venues, community buildings for weddings and other related events.
– People joining a marriage from high covid load cities, who do not have symptoms of covid infection, will not have to be quarantined. Similarly, the bride and groom and their families coming from these cities will not have to be quarantined, but they will not go anywhere other than the place of marriage.
