Uttarakhand Corona update 25 September: 1488 recoveries in 1 day

In Uttarakhand, 928 new corona infections have been found on Friday. For the first time, 1488 corona infected patients are cured in a day. This is the highest number of recoveries in a day in Uttarakhand. The number of infected in the state has crossed 45 thousand. In this, 33642 patients have been cured.

According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department, 8145 samples were examined in the last 24 hours. It has got 7217 samples negative. Today again Dehradun district has the highest number of corona patients. 203 positives were reported from Government and Private labs in the district. Apart from this 173 in Nainital, 117 in Udham Singh Nagar, 107 in Pauri, 87 in Haridwar, 65 in Chamoli, 51 in Almora, 30 in Champawat, 33 in Champawat, 33 in Tehri, 24 in Bageshwar, 21 in Rudraprayag, 13 cases were found in Pithoragarh.

17 percent decrease in sample testing in Uttarakhand

There has been a sudden decrease in the number of corona patients in the state which was seeing well over 1000 cases per day some time back. This may give some relief to the government and health department, but the reality is that there has been a 17 percent drop in sample testing in the state. Due to this, the number of corona patients getting daily is decreasing.

According to the report of the Health Department, from September 15 to 19, 64322 people were examined in the state. While 53486 samples have been investigated from 20 to 24 September. There have been fewer tests of 10836 samples compared to the first five days. Testing is taking place in government and private pathology labs. Sampled tests declined by 18 percent in government and 16 percent in private labs. Today 8022 samples were sent for testing.
