Rajaji Tiger Reserve opened for tourists from today

The Rajaji Tiger Reserve Park was opened to domestic and foreign tourists from today onwards. More than 100 tourists arrived on safari on the first day. The park has many animals including leopard, reindeer, sambar, elephant, chital, monitor lizard. The park has seven ranges. Of these, 4 ranges are opened for tourists.

On Sunday, the gate of Mohand Range was opened by the Principal Secretary Anand Vardhan, Motichur Range, Gate Warden Komal Singh, and Ranipur, Gate Shivalik Municipality President Rajiv Sharma and Chila Range Gate Warden Lalata Prasad opened the the park entrance for tourists. Park warden Komal Singh said that more than 100 tourists took the safari on the first day.

Most tourists safari in the Chila range. 300 tourists will be able to safari the park daily. Entry of private vehicles is prohibited inside the park.

Enjoy nature by following Covid rules

Only contracted vehicles will be able to enter the park. The park has a ticket of Rs 150 for domestic tourists and Rs 550 for foreign tourists. Tickets can be booked offline and online. Komal Singh informed that the park will remain open till June 15.

Shivalik Municipality President Rajiv Sharma appealed to tourists coming for a visit in Rajaji National Reserve Park to follow the Covid rules. Rajiv Sharma said that tourists can enjoy being close to nature and wildlife by wearing masks and following physical distance.
