India suspends flight services to the UK after new Corona strain found
The arrival of Corona’s new strain in the UK has caused a stir. Because of this, many European countries banned the movement from Britain. In this regards, the Indian government has also banned flights coming from Britain till December 31. Ban on flights will start at 12 o’clock tonight. Prior to that, RT-PCR test has been made mandatory for every passenger of flights.
On behalf of the Government of India, tweet said that in view of the current situation in Britain, the Government of India has decided to suspend all flights from Britain to India by 31 December 2020. This suspension will start from 12 o’clock tonight. RT-PCR test has been made mandatory for those who come before that.
Kejriwal-Gehlot had demanded a flight ban
The demand to ban the flight was made by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Kejriwal tweeted today and wrote that in the United Kingdom, there is a stir with the new strain of Coronavirus and it is acting like a super spreader. In such a situation, the Government of India should ban all UK flights.

What is Corona’s new strain
Corona’s new strain VUI-202012/01 has been found in Britain, after which has caused unrest in the scientific community. Britain has also increased its strictness here. While many countries of Europe including France, Germany, Netherlands have banned UK flights. This new strain of Corona is being studied by the World Health Organization.
