Corona curfew announced in Dehradun district from April 26 to May 3
In view of the increasing corona infection, a corona curfew has been declared in the capital Dehradun till May 3. Private vehicles will also not be allowed during this time.
This lockdown will be in force from 7 pm on Monday 26 April to 5 am on May 3. Full lockdown will continue in Dehradun District Municipal Corporation including Rishikesh, Dehradun and Cantonment Council Garhi Cantt and Clementown. Movement of private vehicles will also be completely restricted during this period.

What will open and what will remain closed
Fruit Vegetable Shops, Dairy Bakery Meat Fish Shops, Ration Shops, Government Ration Shops and Animal Feed Shops will be open till 4:00 pm. Petrol pumps, gas supplies and drugstores will be open till permitted time. Only vehicles connected with essential services and government vehicles will be exempted from commuting for duty.
People traveling by airplane, train and bus will be exempted. Individuals and vehicles going for wedding ceremony will be exempted with restrictions on movement. No more than 50 people will be able to gather at the venue. Construction works of public interest will continue and the workers associated with them and vehicles of construction materials will be allowed to travel.
Industrial units and their vehicles and personnel will be allowed to move. Home delivery from restaurants and sweet shops will be exempt. Vehicles related to the funeral procession will be exempt and no more than 20 people will be able to attend the funeral. All government and non-government offices under the government will remain closed.
