Corona curfew increased till June 22 in Uttarakhand; Chardham opened for 3 districts

Despite the decrease in the cases of corona infection, the government has extended the period of Covid curfew implemented in the state by a week i.e. till June 22. Along with this, from June 15, Chardham Yatra has also been opened for the people of three districts Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi. For this, negative report of RTPCR was made mandatory. At the same time, negative report of RT PCR is still mandatory for those coming to Uttarakhand from other states. In the current system in Covid curfew, some more concessions were also given. Markets will open three days a week. Sweet shops will open for five days. Permission was given to operate Vikram, autos in cities. Along with this, it has also been decided to open Revenue Court.

Cabinet Minister and Government Spokesperson Subodh Uniyal held a meeting with Chief Secretary Om Prakash and other officers, in which discussions were held to extend the Covid curfew for a week with some reliefs. After the second wave of Corona subsided, the government has been continuously increasing the curfew for the last few weeks. Right now the government has given permission to open the market with limited relaxations and after that now there is a preparation to open hotels and restaurants. So far, hotels and restaurants in the state have the right to open kitchens for home delivery.
