Snowfall in higher peaks of Uttarakhand

Snowfall continues in the higher Himalayan regions of Munsiyari in Pithoragarh district. On Saturday, the high Himalayan regions of the state received the third snowfall of the season, after which the peaks were covered with snow. With the weather becoming pleasant in the tourist city due to snowfall, cold has knocked here. After the snowfall, the temperature is falling rapidly in the region. The temperature here has dropped by 5 degrees in the last 5 days. The tourist town received the third snowfall of the season on Saturday in the high Himalayan regions including Panchachuli, Hasling, Rajrambha, Nanda Devi and Trishul.

After the snowfall, these peaks have become covered with snow. The beautiful view of these peaks can be seen clearly from Munsiyari. At the same time, after snowfall in the higher Himalayan regions, cold is making its presence felt in lower areas especially during late evening and early morning. After snowfall in the peaks, the mercury dropped in the region. On Tuesday, where the minimum temperature of Munsiyari was 16 and the maximum was 24 degrees, while on Saturday, the minimum temperature here has reached 11 and maximum 19 degrees.

Winter wear come out of shelves

Due to continuous snowfall in the higher Himalayan regions and rain in the lower areas, the effect of cold has increased in the mountainous areas. The mercury continues to drop, causing the warm clothes locked in the shelves to come out. People have started wearing warm clothes to avoid the cold morning and evening. People have described good snowfall in the higher Himalayan regions as good fortune for the future.
