Preparations underway for closure of Gangotri and Yamunotri portals for winter season

The preparations for the closure of the doors of the world famous Gangotri and Yamunotri  temples have started ahead of the winter season 2022. The doors of Gangotri Dham will be closed on October 26 at 12.01 pm on the occasion of Annakoot. After the closure of the doors, devotees from all over the country and abroad will be able to see Goddess Ganga during her winter abode at Mukhimath (Mukhba). Meanwhile, the doors of Yamunotri Dham will be closed on October 27 at 12.09 pm on Bhai Dooj.
