8 dead in Texas mall shooting
There was a shooting on Saturday at a mall in the US state of Texas. 8 people died in the attack. These include children as well. 7 people were injured. According to the news agency Reuters, the police have killed the suspected shooter.
Some pictures and videos of the incident are going viral on social media. Blood-soaked people are seen on the ground. The slain attacker is also visible in a video. The gun used in the attack is also visible near his body.
The reason for the attack is not known
A police officer said- ‘Firing took place in a mall in Texas. The assailant started firing indiscriminately at the people. We took immediate action and killed him. At the same time, 7 people including the attacker died on the spot. 2 people died during treatment in the hospital. We do not know the reason for the attack at the moment. It is being verified.’
