Cloudburst reported in Pauri village
In Uttarakhand, Pauri’s Thalisain witnessed devastation due to cloudburst late on Thursday night. A part of the bridge near Bagwadi village on the Thalisain-Pathisain-Bungidhar motorway has been damaged. Due to which the movement of more than five villages of the region has come to a standstill. While the movement of 80 villages of the belt has been affected.
In the Chauthan Patti of Thalisain block, amidst continuous rains, a cloudburst took place near Rauli village at around 1.30 pm on Thursday night. After which the nearby rivulet came in spate. In which a cowshed was washed away. On receiving information about the incident, officials and employees of Revenue Police, PWD have reached the spot and started assessing the damage caused by the disaster.
