22 feared dead in mass shooting in Lewiston city of US

22 people reportedly died and more than 50 were injured in a mass shooting incident late Wednesday night in Lewiston city of Maine state of America. According to media reports, the suspected attacker is absconding after the incident, whose search is on. Security officials shared two photos of the suspected attacker with a rifle on Facebook and asked for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

The Medical Center in Lewiston said in a statement that there were “mass casualties” in the shooting incident, who were being treated. Coordination is being done with area hospitals to take the injured. In two photos shared by the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect was in a firing position with a rifle. The county sheriff is asking for help from locals in identifying the suspect.
