These train services from Dehradun to be impacted for next 3 months; schedule of many trains changed

The effect of fog has started increasing in the plains, the impact of which is also visible on railway services.

Many trains running from Nainital-Haridwar have been postponed. In this context, 8 trains running from Dehradun will remain cancelled on different dates for the next three months. Before leaving for the railway station, travelers are advised to frequently check the train schedule. The schedules of many trains have been changed. Arrangements have been made to operate trains on alternate days, so that passengers do not have to face problems. This decision has been taken due to interlocking work on the railway track. Train operations are being stopped for the next three months due to track work and fog. Out of the eight trains whose operation has been stopped, there are many such trains which will continue to operate intermittently. Ujjaini Express coming from Ujjain to Dehradun will be cancelled on 24,25,31 January and 1 February.

  • Ujjaini Express coming from Ujjain to Dehradun will be cancelled on 24,25,31 January and 1 February.
  • Ujjaini Express going from Dehradun to Ujjain will be cancelled on 23, 24, 30 and 31 January.
  • Indore Express coming from Indore to Dehradun will remain cancelled on 21, 27, 28 January, 3 and 4 February.
  • Indore Express going from Dehradun to Indore will remain cancelled on 20,26,27 January, 2 and 3 February.
  • Janata Express coming from Varanasi to Dehradun will remain cancelled on 2,4,7,9,11,14,11,18,21,23,25,28,30 December, 1,4,6,8,11,13,15,18, 20,22,25,27,29 January and 1,3,5,8,10,12,15,17,19,22,24,26,29 February.
  • Janata Express from Dehradun to Varanasi will not run on 3,5,8,10,12,15,17,19,22,24,26,29,31 December, 2,5,7,9,12,14,16,19, 21,23,26,29,30 January and 2,4,6,9,11,13,16,18,20,23,25,27 February.
  • Nanda Devi Express coming from Kota to Dehradun will remain canceled from 9 January to 05 February.

Dehradun Station Superintendent Vipul Nautiyal said that 8 trains have not been cancelled completely, but arrangements have been made to operate the trains with a gap of one day. The timing of operation of trains can also be changed due to fog.
