Road safety world series: Players arrive in Doon for T20 matches

Cricketers have started reaching Dehradun for international cricket matches to be held under the second edition of Road Safety World Series-2022. Today Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Team India legends reached Dehradun.

The players reached Jollygrant Airport at around one o’clock in the afternoon. From here they left for Hotel Hyatt with tight police protection. Fans thronged the airport to see a glimpse of their stars.

Earlier on Monday, players from Australia, South Africa, West Indies and Bangladesh had reached Doon.

The series will start from September 21 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Dehradun. One match each day will be played from 21 to 24 September. While two matches will be played on 25 September.

Brian Lara-led West Indies Legends will face Ross Taylor’s New Zealand Legends in the first match in Dehradun. Whereas in the second match, India Legends led by Sachin Tendulkar will face England Legends led by Ian Bell.

In the third match, Australia Legends under the captaincy of Shane Watson will face South Africa Legends led by Jonty Rhodes. The fourth match will be between New Zealand Legends and Sri Lanka Legends. Apart from this, there will be a double action on Super Sunday i.e. 25th September.
