Dehradun RTO to remain closed for 3 days after on employee tests positive

The corona infection finally reached the RTO, which is perpetually overcrowded. On Friday, an employee suffering from symptoms of corona was tested in the license section of the office, and corona was confirmed in it. Immediately after this the office was closed for the public while all the personnel were tested. RTO Dinesh Chandra Pathoi said that he himself has become home isolated, including all the employees of the license section. At present, there is a holiday till Sunday and if the infection is not confirmed in any other worker, then the office will be opened for the general public on Monday. Applicants whose slots were booked for the license test on Friday will be given a new date later.

Two days ago, instructions were given to all the district magistrates on behalf of the Chief Secretary regarding the prevention of crowding in government offices. The risk of infection remains constant due to the gathering of applicants for learning license and fitness work in RTO. The crowd in the office for works like license, commercial vehicle works and new vehicle registration is also not decreasing.
