Classes to be held for a minimum of 180 days; results to be declared within 45 days: CM Rawat

Kotdwar/Pauri: Chief Minister Trivandrum Singh Rawat said that the government is working on better education, health facilities, consolidation and employment plans to stop migrations from the hills. He said that in order to create a better environment for education in the village, there will be compulsory education for 180 days in a year and result declaration within 45 days of the examination.
CM said that to provide better health services to the people of the state, two ICUs will be created in all the district hospitals. The interest of the corpus fund of five crore rupees met through the Hans Foundation will be used for maintenance of these ICU’s.

At the same time, the CM said about the municipal corporation that the nagar nigam will be built soon. The mandate regarding their creation will not return. The Chief Minister was addressing the Janata Darshan program organized at Model Montessori School, located at Badrinath Road here on Saturday.

The Chief Minister said that zero tolerance policy will be adopted in the state. We will not do corruption, nor will we let them. He said that strict action would be taken against people involved in corruption. Due to corruption, the development reaching the people went into some people’s pocket. This is why development in the state has been blocked. He said that responsible people will not be spared.
