In Dehradun, people are going to get relief from the traffic jam soon. The central government has made a plan to solve the problems of the residents of the city who are facing the problem of jam every day. To avoid the hassle of jam, the central government has now made a plan to build another flyover in Dehradun.

The residents of Dehradun will no longer have to face the problem of long traffic queues on the Mata Mandir Road going from Dharampur Chowk to Haridwar Bypass. The Central Government has approved a 150 meter long flyover on this road. This flyover will be built at the railway gate located on Mata Mandir Road, so that people will not have to stop again and again due to the train.

Along with this, the Union Road Transport Ministry has also approved flyover projects on five other roads in the state. The state government had requested the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to approve flyover projects on six state roads under the CRIF Setu Bandhan scheme.

A proposal was sent to the Center on behalf of the HOD of PWD in this context. This proposal has now been approved by the Central Government. A total budget of around Rs 193 crore has been approved for these six projects. A letter in this regard has been sent to the Chief Secretary of the state on behalf of the Under Secretary of the Union Ministry of Road Transport.
